Children in the EC section all brought a special shell to lay in the concrete of our new stepping stones. Now that our gardens are growing the PTA decided that stepping stones would be an attractive addition to the EC playground area. Many thanks to Shreeji Constructions for providing the concrete and the expertise to make these stones. The pupils were excited to decorate the stones and the end result was very beautiful. Some children did handprints on the stones. What excitement there was!

Year 9 meet Year 2 – as part of their writing project the children of Year 9 visited the Early Childhood section. They were interested to learn about how children learn to read at this age and what help they get in the classroom and from home. The pupils listened to children read their reading books and asked them questions. They also heard them read their own stories. Both age groups enjoyed the encounter. We look forward to reading the autobiographies of Class 9.
All the students really enjoyed hearing the Year 2 pupils read their books! |
